Production and publication of photos and videos.
Information pursuant to article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation

For public relations purposes, we will take photos and videos (hereinafter referred to as ‘recordings’) of the event (crowd) and of individuals in specific roles (e.g. individuals giving a public speech or presenting something) at this event.

We will publish these recordings

  • on our website,
  • on our social media pages (LinkedIn or Instagram) and
  • for use in electronic newsletters.

If you do not wish to appear in any recordings, please inform the person taking the recordings. Please also take care not to walk into the camera when recordings are being made.

Purposes and legal basis of data processing

The legal basis for data processing with regard to the recording of photos and videos is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interests based on our interest in documenting the event for public relations purposes using photographs and video recordings and then using these for information and representation purposes). You can object to the processing of your data. We will then review your objection.

Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to obtain information about your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR) and to have your data deleted if one of the reasons specified in Art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected.

You also have the right to restrict processing if one of the conditions specified in Art. 18 GDPR is met and, in the cases specified in Art. 20 GDPR, the right to data portability.

Furthermore, as a data subject, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection regulations.

In Baden-Württemberg, the competent supervisory authority is: The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
