Keepit is revamping its offerings
What does this mean for existing customers?

Keepit has restructured its SaaS backup and recovery offerings. For existing customers, the most important thing to know for now is: Nothing is changing in your existing contract at this time. The new structure has been in effect since October 12, 2026, and initially applies only to new customers. The rollout for contract renewals for existing customers is planned for the first quarter of 2027.
In the future, three service tiers will be available: Core Continuity, Business Resilience, and Enterprise Resilience. They differ, among other things, in terms of feature set, service, and retention period. However, one key feature remains unchanged: Unlimited storage is still included in all three packages. The standard retention period, on the other hand, has been revised:
For requirements extending beyond ten years, Business and Enterprise Resilience plans can be supplemented with a retention period of up to 99 years.
There is currently no immediate need for action. Keepit plans to notify customers at least 30 days in advance of any changes when renewing contracts. As soon as the transition for existing contracts becomes concrete, we will work with our customers to determine which of the new models best fits their current services and requirements. This involves, for example, the required retention period, the SaaS applications in use, and any compliance, security, and support requirements.
As a Keepit partner, we support our customers through the transition and provide timely information about the specific implications for their existing solution.
