Copilot:
AI computer control comes to Copilot Studio

With Computer Use, Copilot Studio agents can operate user interfaces such as websites and desktop apps by clicking buttons, selecting menus or filling out forms - even when no API is available for direct connections.
A human example: an AI agent can do everything that a human can do manually in an application. The agents also adapt dynamically to changes in the software, ensuring uninterrupted automation.
At the same time, Copilot Studio's security measures ensure that all company data remains within the Microsoft Cloud and GDPR standards can be adhered to.
New Computer Use tool in Copilot Studio
The range of applications for this function is enormous:
Automated data collection: large volumes of data can be automatically transferred from various sources to central systems, minimizing errors and conserving resources.
Market research: Marketing teams could easily extract and analyze important market information from Internet sources.
Invoice process optimization: Finance departments could automatically extract data from invoices and fully AI-drive their processing.
Copilot Studio takes robotic process automation (RPA) to a new level. Traditional challenges, such as the error-prone behavior of UI elements, are a thing of the past. The intuitive controls enable even non-developers to automate and execute tasks. The platform supports real-time updates and is able to understand natural language - no programming skills required.
Automated form filling with Computer Use
Getting started with the new Computer Use feature begins with a limited preview version provided by Microsoft for testing and evaluation purposes. Access is currently limited to users with preview environments in the USA. Interested companies can apply via a registration form to gain access.
We will keep an eye on this development and keep you up to date in our news section - especially as soon as the function becomes available for the EU.
If you would like to experience Computer Use live, you will have the opportunity to do so at Microsoft Build 2025, from May 19 to 22, 2025, in Seattle or online.
