What's new in Adobe Creative Cloud

The new Creative Cloud releases offer more ways to strengthen your brand, grow your business and optimize collaboration on creative projects.

Adobe Firefly *

  • Image Model 4 - Adobe Firefly's Image Model 4 and Image Model 4 Ultra AI models generate high-quality, detailed images.
  • Generate Video - Quickly creates unique video clips from text prompts. Generate B-roll and visual effects. Or turn a photo into a fascinating animation.
  • Firefly boards - Visualize ideas with just a few clicks. Develop and refine your creative vision - all from one place.
  • Access to third-party models - In addition to the Adobe Firefly models, you can also use numerous specialized models from other manufacturers.

Adobe Stock

  • Replace/remove background - Remove the background of a photo or replace it with a newly generated image.
  • Expand image - Adjust an image to a new aspect ratio by generating additional image content that fits seamlessly into the original image.
  • Style variations - Customize the look of a generated image to match the style of an existing Adobe Stock image.
  • Composition - Apply the composition of an Adobe Stock image to an image that you generate using the text prompt.

Adobe Acrobat Pro

  • Support for additional languages in the AI Assistant - In addition to English, French and German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese are now also supported.
  • Intuitive categories in the AI Assistant - In the AI Assistant control panel, suggestions for questions are divided into three categories: Understand, Analyze and Generate.
  • Improved AI-powered search - The functionality of the search bar has been optimized to improve the use of the AI Assistant.

Adobe Photoshop

  • Select Details - Quickly select complex details such as hair, clothing and facial features with the Object Selection tool.
  • Adjust Colors - Smart identification of the most prominent colors in an image and controls directly on the canvas speed up color editing.
  • Revised hue and saturation controls - Larger color swatches and sliders make it easier to adjust colors precisely.

Adobe InDesign

  • Convert PDF files to InDesign documents (Beta) - InDesign Revises the text and layout of a PDF document without affecting document integrity.
  • Generative Fill (Beta) - Transform shapes and objects in your layout with a simple text prompt.
  • Mathematical Formulas - Create and edit mathematical and scientific formulas.

Adobe Illustrator

  • Performance enhancements - New performance enhancements speed up the creation of high-quality graphics.
  • Generative Shape Fill - Start with a vector shape and fill it with perfectly fitting details.
  • Text to Pattern - Create customizable patterns that you can insert into any document.

Adobe Lightroom

  • Landscape Masking - Automatically recognize elements in landscape photos like mountains, water, and foliage for quick masking.
  • Improved Quick Actions - Get suggestions for 1-click corrections tailored to your photos. For example, you can whiten teeth or smooth skin to bring out every person in a photo.

Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Rounded corners for clips in the timeline - The clip display in the timeline now has a fresh new design.
  • Improved H.264 performance - H.264 codec support for MP4 and MOV videos has been completely overhauled. Performance on computers with Apple Silicon processors has been improved by a factor of four and on Windows computers by a factor of two.

Adobe After Effects

  • Receives Light setting for 3D layers - Selects whether light sources in a scene affect a 3D layer.
  • Thumbnail view of 3D models - Imported 3D models in GLB and OBJ format are now displayed as thumbnails in the project window.
  • New version of Cinema 4D (2025) - The 2025 upgrade of Cinema 4D for the latest version of After Effects includes the latest features and improvements from Maxon.
  • Frame.io - Edit video projects together as a team.

Adobe Express

  • Clip Maker - Upload podcasts, interviews or demo videos, and Express creates clips from highlights for social media.
  • New video editing tools - Organize your video content and edit multiple clips at once, for example to mute sound or change transitions and duration. Export your content quickly and easily for publication on Vimeo.
  • Animate Illustrator and Photoshop designs - Quickly add movement to your designs with dynamic animation presets. Generate commercially viable videos as background footage.
  • Generate Similar - Create an entire series from one image in seconds. With more than 30 new Photoshop-based filters, you can customize the look of your designs to your exact specifications.
