What's new in Adobe Creative Cloud

With the October 2021 release, Adobe is coming up with a large number of updates for Creative Cloud. It's not just applications that are getting improved functions, Adobe has also thought about business users. Here is an overview of the most important improvements.

Features for business users.

  • Control over content - Access to creative content and libraries can be revoked at any time, e.g. if an employee leaves the company.
  • Shared cloud storage - The storage capacities of individual team members can be combined in a storage pool for the entire team.

Adobe Photoshop

  • New image editing options with Neural Filters - Recolor a scene. Combine several landscapes into a completely new one. Transfer colors from one image to another. Or change a person's facial expression, age and pose.
  • Quick selection of image areas - To automatically select a specific image area, simply move the cursor over it and click. Omitted areas can be added later by clicking again.
  • Faster transfer from Illustrator to Photoshop - Now you can easily copy vector graphics from Illustrator to Photoshop - including colors, outlines, masks and layers.

Adobe InDesign

  • Publish Online - Publish content directly to the web and check the performance of your content with InDesign's built-in analytics.
  • Import from Adobe Capture - Import color palettes and shapes directly from Adobe Capture. For fonts, you get suggestions from Adobe Fonts based on the raster image of a font.

Adobe Illustrator

  • Share projects with others - Invite others to view a project in the cloud. You don't need your own Creative Cloud subscription. Get feedback without having to export and send large files.
  • In-app training - Take your skills to the next level with tons of inspiring content and tutorials directly in the program. You can find them via the "Training" control panel or the search field.
  • Automatic font activation - No more missing fonts - Illustrator automatically searches for and activates the relevant fonts from Adobe Fonts.
  • Advanced 3D effects - Vector graphics with a 3D look: Experiment with 3D options for extrude, rotate and light as well as substance effects.

Adobe Lightroom

  • More creative control - Edit images with precision using new masking tools.
  • Faster editing - The Select Subject and Select Sky features make it easy to select complex image areas. Adjustments can be made with just one click.
  • More premium presets - Discover new preset packs from professionals, for example for skin tones, food, travel or architecture.

Adobe Fresco

  • Motion control tools - Animate your drawings. You can go frame by frame and animate layers or animate a drawing along a motion path.
  • Unlimited layers - Work with as many layers as you like. Use adjustment layers to quickly change colors or add special effects. The original file remains unchanged so that changes can be undone at any time.
  • Drawing aids - Trace a circle, square or polygon. This ensures that the lines run exactly as desired - whether outside or inside the shape.
  • Support for text layers and Adobe Fonts - Design with text by adding and editing text layers. Use your own fonts or use the free selection from Adobe Fonts. With a paid subscription you have access to all Adobe Fonts (iPhone and iPad only).

Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Automatic subtitling - With Adobe Sensei, spoken dialog can be automatically converted into subtitles. It supports 12 languages. With the right subtitling, you can bring your videos closer to more recipients and contribute to accessibility.
  • Automatic scaling of videos - With "Auto Reframe", footage can be quickly and intelligently optimized for social media: square, vertical, widescreen (16:9) or in 4K resolution.
  • Automatic color matching - Automatic color matching based on Adobe Sensei AI ensures fast and accurate color matching that can be easily edited and adapted to individual styles.

Adobe Chracter Animator

  • Bring characters to life - With the "Body Tracker" based on Adobe Sensei AI technology, you can animate a character's entire body at once. Simply record your movements. The character will imitate you automatically.
  • Give bodies natural movements - " Underground Recognition" and the ability to attach limbs to scenes offer even more control. Make your character jump and dance, or make them bend or crouch.
  • Navigate the timeline faster - Search the timeline for tracks and track elements. You can hide or isolate tracks, colorize takes and create groups to keep track of everything.

Adobe After Effects

  • Faster multiframe rendering - utilize the full power of your CPU. New features speed up Live View, flag layers that slow down processing time, and optimize composition rendering.
  • Design in 3D space - Discover the tools for navigation and design in three-dimensional space. New features include real-time preview for 3D designs, "Expanded Viewport", "3D Ground Plane" and "3D Transform Gizmos".
  • Accelerated Export - Export your compositions up to three times faster when rendering with Adobe Media Encoder or the revised queue. Once the process is complete, you will be notified on your desktop, email, smartphone or tablet.
  • Exchange images and videos in Motion Graphics templates - Create Motion Graphics templates with sample media that editors can quickly exchange when editing video in Premiere Pro.
